Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory has been nationally recognized on six different occasions by the National Funeral Directors Association and was the first funeral home in Rhode Island to be recognized as a “NFDA Pursuit of Excellence Award” recipient. After earning the “Recognition of Excellence” award and later the “Eagle Award of Excellence” in the Pursuit of Excellence program by the NFDA on three separate occasions, Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory earned their highest recognition as a “Golden Eagle Award of Excellence” funeral home provider.

Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory later received the “Pursuit of Excellence Emeritus Award” from the National Funeral Directors Association in honor of the unique programming, outstanding accomplishments in funeral service and innovative achievements in the fields of professional, educational and community service that have become the hallmarks of the Rebello Funeral Home & Crematory.

Robert Connor

Funeral Director/Embalmer

Rob has been working in the funeral service industry since March of 1983. He started working at a funeral home in his hometown of Warren RI, and worked there for many years, assisting the families in need.

He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, as well as licensed insurance agent and licensed Notary Public in both states.

Rob has over 39 years of experience in funeral service, and has managed multiple funeral homes in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts area. He was the Director of Operations for a funeral service company with multiple locations within Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Rob has been working at Rebello Funeral Home since May of 2017, on a part time basis and he accepted a full-time position in June of 2021.

He currently lives in Riverside, with his wife of 25 years and his two daughters.

John Rebello IV

Funeral Director's Assistant/ VP East Bay Crematory

John began his funeral service career at the young age of 14, working part time at Rebello Funeral Home while attending high school at LaSalle Academy in Providence.

Upon graduating from LaSalle, he attended Bristol Community College and Johnson and Wales University, earning a degree in Business Administration.

In 2020, John became Vice President of both East Bay Crematory, Inc and New England Support Services Company, Inc. He is currently working as a Funeral Directors Assistant and is an integral part of the fifth generation of the Rebello family, carrying on the Rebello tradition of providing compassionate, caring funeral services to the community.

A lifelong resident of East Providence, John currently lives in the Kent Heights section of the city.
