Obituary
Gloversville, New York – Steven L. Carmello, 72, of New York, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, in Fall River Ma.
He was born in Fall River, the son of the late Michael A. and Madeline (Schaefer) Carmello.
Steve was a purchasing agent for the Taylor Made Company for many years, he has lived in New York 15 years, coming from Swansea Ma.
He was a former parishioner of St. Dominic’s Church in Swansea.
Steve enjoyed playing golf, spending time at the gun club and the Concordian Club, with his friends and family.
He is survived by his sons Michael Carmello of Fall River and John Carmello of Swansea.
He was the brother of Michael Carmello of Fall River, Joan Salve of Dighton, and also the brother of the late John Carmello, Jean Carmello, and Joyce Tetreault.
Mr. Carmello was the grandfather of Zachary Carmello, Malory Carmello, Tyler Hill, Cody Ferreira, and Morgan Hill.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 10:00am in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI.
Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Swansea.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Saturday MORNING from 8:30-10:00am at the funeral home.
