Ronald Pacheco Sr. Obituary

Rehoboth - Ronald Edward Pacheco, Sr.,81, a cherished family man and a dedicated worker, passed away peacefully at Beth Israel Hospital, Plymouth MA, on Friday, February 23, 2024. Born in Providence, RI, on January 11, 1943, Ronald was a person whose loving and kind nature touched everyone he met.

Ronald, known affectionately as Ronald by his friends and family, spent over 45 years of his life contributing his skills as a factory worker and assembler at the A.T. Wall Manufacturing Company. His strong work ethic and creative problem-solving were valued by all who worked alongside him. Even after his retirement, Ronald continued to engage with the community, working part-time as a grocery clerk at Stop and Shop in Seekonk, where his warm smile became a familiar comfort to many.

A long-time resident of Rehoboth since 1978, after moving from Seekonk, Providence, and East Providence, Ronald was an active and devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with strength and solace throughout his years.

Ronald’s capacity to find joy in the simple pleasures of life was one of his most admirable qualities. He relished the times spent socializing with friends, engaging in lively card games, and immersing himself in his favorite TV shows. Music was another source of happiness for Ronald; it was not uncommon to find him humming along to a tune or sharing a song that held special meaning for him.

The love and memories Ronald shared with his late wife, Inez D. (Fernandes) Pacheco, were the foundation of a life filled with compassion and mutual respect. He was a guiding light and a source of endless support to his son, Ronald E. Pacheco, Jr. of Rehoboth, MA. Ronald's brothers, Robert Pacheco of Bonita Springs, Florida, and Richard Pacheco of Garnet Valley, PA, along with several nieces and nephews, will remember him as a beacon of kindness and creativity.

Ronald's legacy is one of love, commitment to family, and service to his community. He will be remembered not only for the life he led but also for the countless ways he enriched the lives of those around him. His absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing this remarkable man.

As we bid farewell to Ronald Edward Pacheco, Sr., we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey marked by unwavering love, and the joy he found in everyday moments. His memory will continue to inspire and comfort us in the days to come.
