Robert Allan Medeiros

Robert Allan Medeiros, 84, of Park Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts, formally of Seekonk, Massachusetts, passed away, Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Phillip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the husband of Joyce (Murgo) Medeiros.

Born December 23, 1937, in Providence, Rhode Island he was the son of the late, Manuel & Julia (Santos) Medeiros.

Mr. Medeiros was a Police Officer for the town of Seekonk, Massachusetts from 1960-1965 and from 1965-1980 he was an Equipment Operator for the Highway Department. Then from 1980-1990 he was a General Foremen for the Highway department and retired after 30 years of service. He enjoyed cooking, was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and woodworker. He was a Member of the Attleboro, Massachusetts Lodge of Elks #1014 and enjoyed helping with all the events.

Besides his wife of 58 years, he leaves two daughters, Donna Godfrey of Seekonk, Massachusetts, Sherri Walker of Lincoln, Rhode Island, four grandsons, William Godfrey (Jessica), Jason Godfrey (Michelle),Tyler Walker, David Walker, one granddaughter, Kendra Walker, four great grandchildren, Erica, Alayna, Will, Ryan,  one sister, Gloria Pemberton (Bruce) of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and two nephews.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 11:00am - 4:00 pm at the Attleborough Lodge of Elks #1014 887 South Main Street, Attleboro, MA  

Burial will be private.
