Patricia M. (Furtado) Flower,86, known affectionately as Patricia, passed away peacefully at her home in Rumford, Rhode Island on September 2, 2023. Born on March 17, 1937, in East Providence, Rhode Island, Patricia led a life marked by love, generosity, and a strong faith.
Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Raymond B. Flower and the cherished daughter of the late Antone and Anna (Dias) Furtado. Patricia is survived by her brother James Furtado of the Villages, Florida, and was predeceased by her daughter, Rhonda Ann Flower. She was a loving sister to Susanne Quinn of Exeter and the late Barbara Briggs. Patricia's legacy continues through her grandson, Chance Flower, of Rumford and great-grandchildren, Brayden and Brooklyn.
Patricia was known for her commitment to hard work, spending many years as a Bench worker at the Fort Jewelry Manufacturing. Her dedication and industrious nature were evident in all aspects of her life, both professionally and personally. Patricia's colleagues admired her diligence and her ability to bring joy and positivity to the workplace each day.
Beyond her professional life, Patricia had a zest for life that was infectious. She had a passion for playing cards and was particularly fond of the game Hi-Lo Jack. Her love for bowling and line dancing were well-known among her circle of friends, and these activities brought her much joy and companionship. Patricia also found solace and relaxation in the simple pleasures of life like going to the beach. Her ability to enjoy every moment made her a beacon of positivity to all who knew her.
Patricia will be remembered as a loving and generous individual, always ready to lend a helping hand. Her faith played a significant role in her life, providing her with strength and guidance. She was known for her kindness and compassion, always putting others before herself. Patricia's radiant smile and infectious laughter will be greatly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity. Her memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She lived her life with grace, humility, and a deep sense of faith, inspiring everyone around her. Her funeral will be held on Monday, September 11,2023 at 8:30am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Chistian Burial at 10:00am in St. Martha Church, 2595 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence.
Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI at 12:00pm.
