Obituary
Maria Jorgete Pinheiro, 78, of East Providence, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born on February 13, 1945, in Pico da Pedra, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Eloi C. and Julia C. Pinheiro.
Miss Pinheiro attended Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
She leaves one sister, Lucia Braga (Joao) of East Providence, whom she lived with for 25 years and her nieces and nephews: Michael E. Braga (Julie) of Seekonk, Philip J. Braga (Marisa) of East Providence, Julie M. Medeiros (Joseph) of Rehoboth, Susan M. Raposo (John) of Swansea, Paul J. Pinheiro (Stefania) of North Providence, Courtney L. Mance (Trevor) of Scottsdale, Arizona and Michael Pinheiro of Johnston. 13 great-nieces and great-nephews. Miss Pinheiro was the sister of the late, Jose E. Pinheiro (Joana) Ozvaldo B. Pinheiro (Lori) and stepdaughter of the late Margarida B. Pinheiro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Traverse Street, Providence.
The burial will be private.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Rebello Funeral Home, East Providence.
