Maria was also blessed to be the great-grandmother of Camilia and Lucia Furtado, who brought immense joy to her later years. She was also a dear aunt to Nelinha Jardin of Sao Miguel.
In her professional life, Maria was a dedicated worker, serving as a stringer for Excell Jewelry Manufacturing for over a decade. Maria was an avid baker, known for her delicious cakes that were the highlight of many family gatherings. Her interest in baking was just one of the ways she expressed her love for her family and friends. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones, creating memories that her family will cherish forever.
In addition to her love for baking, Maria had a green thumb and found great joy in gardening. She took pride in her yard, nurturing every plant with care and patience. Her garden was a testament to her nurturing spirit and her ability to create beauty wherever she went. She also had a knack for sewing, creating beautiful pieces for her home and as gifts for her loved ones.
