Obituary

It is with profound sadness that the family of Mary Maia Frias announce her sudden passing on May 24, 2022, at the age of 46 years.

Mary will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband, Armenio Frias; mother, Maria Natalia Maia; siblings, Benny Maia and Sandy Maia; stepchildren, Nicole Frias and Philip Frias; step grandchild Dominic Pantoja; nephews, Tyler Maia and Tony Leon; and numerous other family members and friends.

Mary was born and raised in East Providence, Rhode Island and happily lived and worked with her husband in Palm Beach, Florida for the past 20 years. Mary was a beautiful soul whose smile and laugh would light up any room. She lived to do everything for her family and look forward to spending as much time as she could with them. Her favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Her funeral will be held Monday June 6,2022 at 8:30am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 North Carpenter Street, East Providence.

Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Sunday from 2:00pm – 5:00pm, at the funeral home.
