Manuel " Junie" DaGraca, Jr.

East Providence - Manuel " Junie" DaGraca, Jr., 71. of East Providence, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.

He was the husband of Joy (Sullivan) DaGraca.

Junie was born in Providence the son of the late Manuel and Eugenia (Pina) DaGraca, Sr.

Mr. DaGraca was a Mechanic for over 20 years.

Junie has been a resident of East Providence for the last 15 years, coming from Providence, where he lived most of his life.

Junie enjoyed working on cars and doing anything mechanical. He was an antique car collector.

Beside his wife he is survived by his sons Michael “Nico” DaGraca and his fiancé Barbara, of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, John DaGraca and his wife Crystal of Bar Harbor Maine, and his daughter Marissa Shaw and her husband Gary of East Providence.  

Mr. DaGraca was the grandfather of Drew and his wife  Alexandra, Haley, Breana, Sierra, Corey, Trey, Lilah, Gary,Jr. ,Remi, and Arianna.

He was the great grandfather of Xavier.  His best friend, his dog Bo.

Mr. DaGraca is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Manuel was the brother of the late Joseph DaGraca , Raymond DaGraca and Anita Harris.

His funeral will be held Saturday June 4, 2022 at 8:30am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse Street, Providence.  Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, 661 Prospect Street, Pawtucket.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Friday, June 3, 2022, from 5:00pm-8:00pm in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, East Providence.
