Lori Ann Paiva

East Providence – Lori Ann Paiva, 61, of East Providence, passed into her eternal rest on Monday May 2,2022 at the Fogarty Center, on South Broadway in East Providence, where she had been living.

Lori Ann was born in Providence, RI the daughter of the late John B. ( Borges) and Olga M. (Machado) Paiva.

She was a volunteer for the East Providence Public Library, in the book return department.

An East Providence resident all of her life, she was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church.

Lori Ann enjoyed all types of music, from Classical to Motown to the Carpenters to Soul Town. She loved to collect vinyl records and cd’s, like to watch American Band Stand and loved watching the History Channel.

William Shakespeare was her favorite poet.

Lori Ann is survived by her brother Raymond Paiva and his fiance Lisa Bell of Rumford, and her sister Diana Neves and her husband Robert of East Providence.

She was the aunt of Erika, Ashley, Lindsay, Melanie, Cristina and Michael.

She was also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Lori Ann also leaves her special friends and family at the Fogarty Center, on South Broadway, East Providence.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday May 5, 2022, at 8:00am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 North Carpenter Street, East Providence.

Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Thursday MORNING from 8:00am -9:30am at the funeral home.
