Lillian Clark Obituary

Lillian Clark, 75, of Rumford, RI, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 28, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Stanley Clark, Jr for over 50 years. Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Albert Roderiques and Norma (Smith) Roderiques.

Lillian worked as a secretary for the Providence Public School Department for many decades. Prior to this, she served in the Peace Corps and worked in the Job Corps. She placed strong emphasis on family, education, equity, and compassion. She was a world traveler, an exceptional cook, an avid bicyclist, an ardent beach-goer, and a keen gardener.

Lillian is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Clark, Jr and daughter, Uraina Clark, PhD, as well as several cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

Visiting hours in the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI, will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd at 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Rumford Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amnesty International.
