Obituary

Bristol – Leonard F. Costa, Sr.,85, of Bristol, passed away on Thursday August 4, 2022, at Hope Hospice in Providence.

He was born in Providence the son of the late John and Josephine (Sorrentine) Costa.

Leonard was a truck driver/ delivery person for the F.W>Webb Company for many years.

Mr. Costa was a baseball coach, many years ago.

Leonard is survived by his children Leonard F. Costa, Jr. of Cranston, Deborah A. Caldas – Zimmerman of Attleboro, Thomas J. Costa of East Providence, Steven J. Costa of North Providence, Michael A. Costa of East Providence, Diane M. Hollenrake of Riverside.

He was the brother of Norman Costa of East Providence.

Mr. Costa was the grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of several.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Leonard was the brother of the late Marjorie Delmonico, and of the late Richard Costa.

Also, he was the grandfather of the late Christina E. Caldas.

Mr. Costa’s services are private.
