Kenneth Robert Botelho, 74 of Largo, Fl passed away October 6, 2023 at his home. Ken was raised in Rehoboth, Ma by the late Manuel and Angeline (Branco) Botelho.
He graduated from Dighton Rehoboth High School and served in the United States Navy. He later received his BS degree from Johnson and Wales University.
Ken was the husband of the late Brenda (Lane) Botelho and is survived by his loving sons Derek, Ryan and James Botelho, stepson; John Vieira and his loving daughter Kendra Botelho.
He was the proud Papa to his 6 grandchildren; Savana, Ariana, Ryan, Ryder and Brooklyn Botelho and Abigail Eaton.
He is survived by his loving brother Manuel L Botelho.
Ken worked for many years at Rowe Vending Inc.(Lincoln, RI), United Methodist Nursing Home (East Prov, RI) as Supervisor of Maintenance and retired as Director of Environmental Services at Tamarisk Assisted Living Facility in Warwick, RI.
He enjoyed working with his hands and was a master’s in electrical, carpentry and plumbing. He was kind and generous and always there with a helping hand and a toolbox in the other. Ken was a devout Christian man that went on mission trips with fellow church members to help build churches and schools for the less fortunate in Guatemala. He attended Starkey Road Baptist Church in Largo, Fl.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Thursday ,November 9, 2023, from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence.
Burial with Military Honors will be on Friday ,November 10,2023, at 11:00am in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Blvd., Bourne ,MA.
