Joseph Michael Yuski

Rumford – Joseph M. Yuski, 57, of Rumford, passed away, on Friday May 12, 2023, at RI Hospital.

He was the husband of Melissa (Paiva) Yuski, they were married for over 32 years.

He was born in Providence the son of the late Michael P. and Maureen S. (Oliver) Yuski.

Joseph was an Engineer for the Ferguson Manufacturing Company before he became disabled.

Joe has been an East Providence resident all his life, having lived in Riverside, East Providence, and Rumford throughout his life.

He had enjoyed camping, fishing and bowling; he even bowled a perfect 300 game. Joe liked sports of all kinds, but his passion was for music, and he had a vast knowledge of it. His kind heart was evident in his interactions with his mother -in-law Agnes Paiva. whom he cared for in his home for some time.

Joseph was also an organ donor, and was an advocate for Lupus research, an illness he lived with for many years.

Besides his wife he is survived by a stepson Kevin Veyera of East Providence, a daughter Alicia Yuski of Texas, a brother Robert Yuski of Riverside, a nephew Robert Yuski of Riverside. Joseph is also survived by two uncles, and aunts, and many cousins.

He was Pepe of Peyton Lynne Veyera and loved spending time with her.

A Prayer Service will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 6:30pm in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME,901 Broadway, East Providence, RI.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are Thursday June 1, 2023, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm in the funeral home.
