Joan M. (Cordeiro) Healey, 84, a woman of boundless adventure, selflessness, and strength passed away peacefully at Waterview Villa in East Providence on November 2, 2023. Born on October 6, 1939, in Providence, RI, Joan was the beloved daughter of the late William A. and Alice A. (Athaide) Cordeiro, Sr.

Joan will be fondly remembered by her six children, Deborah Perry and her husband Jess of East Providence, John Healey of East Providence, William Healey of East Providence, Patricia Hannaway and her husband Raymond of Riverside, Sandra Bettencourt and her husband Stephen of Riverside, and Karen Cunha and her husband Edward of Seekonk. She was also an avid reader, always seen with a book in hand, lost in another world.
