JoAnn (Victoria) Ventura

JoAnn (Victoria) Ventura 76 of East Providence    passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Miriam Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Donald Ventura.

Born in Saint Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Correia) Victoria.

Mrs. Ventura worked for B. A. Ballou Fine Jewelers Office for many years. She loved spending time with her sisters and her grandchildren. She enjoyed music and spending time at the beach.

She leaves 1 son, Donald Ventura (Maria) of Swansea, Massachusetts, 1 daughter, Lisa Pinheiro (Thomas) of East Providence, R.I., 4 grandsons, Alec Ventura, Troy Ventura, Noah Pinheiro, Dylan Pinheiro, 4 sisters, Maria Paiva (Gilbert) of East Providence, Dalia Ferreira of East Providence, Adeline Tabicas (Gil) of Swansea, Anna Larguinho (Albano) of East Providence, 2 brothers, James Victoria (Dawna) of Bristol, R.I., George Victoria (Karen) of East Providence and several nieces, nephews and godchildren. 

Mrs. Ventura’s Funeral will be celebrated Monday, April 17, 2023, at 8:30 am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Saint Francis Xavier Church, N. Carpenter Street. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Wampanoag Trail, Riverside.

Visiting Hours will be held Sunday from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Funeral Home.
