Providence – James T. Comstock, Jr, 62, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 10,2023, at home.
He was the husband of Teresa (Cardosa) Comstock for the last 36 years.
James was born in Providence the son of James T. Comstock, Sr., of Lincoln and the late Shirley A. (Midgley) Comstock.
Jimmy was a Tele- Communications Technician for Direct TV, for over 10 years.
Jimmy was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving as a truck driver as an E-4 specialist.
He has lived in Providence for over 20 years coming from Lincoln. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, working on cars, and watching older movies, especially with Clint Eastwood in them.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children Gary Dubois and his wife Stacy, Robert Comstock, Jonathan Carrion, Christopher Carrion, Sara Dubois and her husband T.J. Arends and Elizabeth Comstock.
Jimmy was the brother of John Comstock, Linda Comstock, Joyce Comstock, and Carol Comstock.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was the grandfather of Caitlyn Coyle, Cullen Hopkins, Ethan Dubois, Olivia Dubois, Caleb Dubois, James Comstock and Sofie Overly. He was the great grandfather of 6.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday May 20, 2023 at 10:00am in the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, burial with Military Honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Saturday MORNING from 8:30am – 10:00am.in the funeral home.
