Helen (Amaral) Camille

East Providence – Helen (Amaral) Camille,99, of East Providence, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Miriam Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Gilbert Camille.

Helen was born in East Providence the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Costa) Amaral.

She was a Dental Assistant for the Samuels Dental Center at R.I. Hospital for over 33 years before retiring.

A lifelong East Providence resident, and a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church, where she was a member of the Legion of Mary, and the Holy Rosary Sodality, also a Eucharistic Minister.

She was also a member of the Women’s Club Auxiliary, East Providence Council 1528, Knights of Columbus.

She also enjoyed painting and travelling.

Helen is survived by brother Joseph Amaral and his wife Jean of East Providence, A nephew David Amaral and his wife Linda of Riverside, and a niece Donna Bagdasarian  and her husband Robert of Barrington.

She was the great aunt of Daniel Amaral, Kristen Amaral, and Adam Bagdasarian.

Helen was the aunt of the late Sr. Joyce Amaral S.S.D.

Her funeral will be held Friday, May 19, 2023, at 8:30am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 North Carpenter Street, East Providence.

Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Friday MORNING from 8:30am to 9:30am.
