Rehoboth - Glenn E. Tiberiis, a loving and intelligent family man, passed away at Hope Hospice Providence RI on October 20, 2023, at the age of 85. Born in the Bronx, New York, on May 4, 1938, Glenn had been a longtime resident of Rehoboth, living an active and fulfilling life with his family and friends.
Glenn was the beloved husband of Lenore (Bianco) Tiberiis and together they enjoyed more than 66 years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Glenn E. Tiberiis, Jr. and his wife Karen of Warwick, Marc Tiberiis and his wife Michele of Pawtucket, and Lauren Munsell of Pawtucket. The son of the late Dennis and Anna (Mayer) Tiberiis, Glenn also had a close bond with his brothers Richard Tiberius of Washington D.C., and Dennis Tiberius of Utah. Cherished by his grandchildren Erik Munsell and his wife Adriana, Marc Tiberiis II and his wife Kira, and Max Tiberiis, Glenn also leaves behind a number of dear nieces and nephews.
Glenn was a proud alumnus of the University of Rhode Island, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree. His dedication to his work was evident in his long and loyal service at the Tasca Automotive Group in Seekonk. For over 50 years, Glenn served as the parts manager, also being a part of the original Tasca Racing Parts team. His work ethic, professionalism, loyalty and dedication managed to leave a lasting impression on his colleagues and clients alike.
In his personal life, Glenn was a man of many interests and talents. He loved living in Rehoboth and was deeply involved in the community since moving from New York over six decades ago. A keen traveler, Italy was one of his favorite destinations. He was also an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying playing hockey and basketball in his spare time.
Aside from sports, Glenn had a creative side which he expressed through his photography business. He often captured life's most significant moments at weddings, bar mitzvahs, and bat mitzvahs, creating lasting memories for clients. An adventurous spirit, he loved rollerblading, biking, and kayaking. His love for driving was evident in his long association with the Tasca Automotive Group. Glenn lived caringly, laughed easily, loved intensely and he left unwillingly.
Glenn E. Tiberiis was a man of integrity, intelligence, loyalty and love. He cherished his family, nurtured his friendships, and dedicated his life to both personal and professional excellence. His passing is a great loss to those who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. Above all, Glenn's legacy as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
