Beyond his professional life and family commitments, Chico had a passion for gardening and carpentry. His skilled hands transformed many spaces both in Cape Verde and the United States. His love for carpentry was not just a hobby, but a way to connect with others and lend his skills to those in need. His gardens were a testament to his patience, dedication, and love for nature. They were a place of peace and tranquility for him and those who visited.
Chico's gentle nature and kind spirit were a beacon for those who knew him. He was a man who believed in the power of love and kindness, and he lived his life in a way that reflected these values.
