Obituary
Providence - Elsayed A. " Mark" Selim, 59, of Providence, RI. passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 18,2023 at Rhode Island Hospital, with his longtime companion, Lynn McElroy by his side.
He was born in Alexandria, Egypt the son of the late Abdin and Leila Selim.
A resident of Fox Point section of Providence for over 30 years, he enjoyed taking long drives in the country and vacationing on Block Island, and Cape Cod.
He was a kind and quiet soul who was a great support to his McElroy family.
In addition to his companion, he is survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews all in Egypt.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 13th at 10:00am in St. Joseph Church, 92 Hope Street, Providence, RI.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
Burial will be private. In his memory perform an act of kindness.
