Rumford – Elizabeth W.(White) Patnaude, RN., 72, of Rumford passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Miriam Hospital in Providence.
She was the wife of Timothy Patnaude, they have been married for over 45 years.
Elizabeth was born in Attleboro, Ma., the daughter of the late Antone and Theresa (Reis) White.Mrs. Patnaude was a Veteran of the US Army Reserves, serving as a Registered Nurse with the rank of Captain.
Elizabeth was a Registered Nurse for the East Providence School Department, serving all the school sin the district , most recently at Myron J. Francis School. She also previously worked at Memorial Hospital and the Providence VA Hospital.
She had also been a part time teacher in Pawtucket and Cumberland.
She has lived in East Providence for most of her life.
Mrs. Patnaude was a parishioner of St. Margaret’s Church; she was a member of the Citizens Scholarship Foundation of East Providence.
She enjoyed sewing, traveling. Elizabeth was also a member of the Red Hat’s Society.
Besides her husband she is survived by her children Frederick Patnaude of Rumford, Essence “Esse” Patnaude of Winfield Kansas.
She was the sister of Anthony White of East Providence, Diane Brennan of East Providence.
Mrs. Patnaude was the grandmother of Trent Patnaude, Casper – Bo Adams, Josephine Adams.
She was the aunt of Marcie English, Adam White, and Evangeline Workman.
Mrs. Patnaude was the mother of the late Josephine Patnaude.
Her funeral will be held Saturday January 21, 2023, at 8:00am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford, RI.
Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are SATURDAY MORNING from 8:00am – 9:30am in the funeral home.
