She also enjoyed shopping with her daughter and "partner in crime", little Barbara. She had a deep love for her family and friends, cherishing every moment spent with them.

In addition to her family ties, she leaves behind her two loyal and beloved best friends, Arlene and Joyce. Barbara was actively involved in her community. She generously donated to her church and various local charities, always seeking to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Throughout her life, Barbara enjoyed being a singer, and worked as a dedicated waitress for many years. She also was a partner and co-owner of Duarte Asphalt Paving, in East Providence, with Frank S.
