Angie Maria (Soares) Lasater

Angie M. (Soares) Lasater, 75, passed away on Monday March 6, 2023, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.

She was the wife of the late Thomas M. Lasater.

Angie was born in Sao Miguel, Portugal the daughter of the late Manuel Rebelo Soares and Angelina Sao Jorge Ferreira Matias.

Angie was a self-employed Cosmetologist for over 20 years.

She enjoyed gardening, spending time at the water fishing, she loved to travel, and send daily prayers to her friends and family.

She was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church.

Angie is survived by a stepdaughter Meagan Lasater of California, 2 grandchildren Claire and Tommy Lasater.

She was the sister of Manuel Soares of East Providence, Joseph Rebelo of Fall River, Eduardo Soares of Ct., Frank Soares of Fall River, Natalia Melo of Fall River, Constance Raposo of Fall River.

She was the Godmother of Joshua Melo, Anthony Formisano, MaryAnn Leigh Graves.

Angie is also survived by many nieces and nephews, especially Joey, Michael, Melissa, Jeffrey and Felicia.

Her funeral will be held Saturday March 11,2023 at 8:30am from the REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 North Carpenter Street, East Providence.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 8:30am – 9:30am at the funeral home.
