Evelyn J. DiBenedetto, age 91, died January 13, 2019 at Waterview Villa with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Pasco C. DiBenedetto. She was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Earl J. Higham and Mary (McNamee) Higham.
She worked as an inspector for T. Sardelli’s & Sons until retirement and then volunteered at the Oldham Elementary School in Mrs. Brill’s class.
She is survived by her daughters; Sharon DiBenedetto of Riverside, Rosalie DiBenedetto of East Providence, 5 grandchildren; Rebecca, Dylan, Paulette, Michelle and Justin, 5 great grandchildren; Baylee, Holly, Kylie, Karissa and Jace. She was the sister of Edward Higham of Cranston, John Higham of Cranston, Mary Parkhouse of AL and the late Marie O’Neill, Helen Houle, Esther Wood, Dorothy Riley, Earl J. Higham, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday (1/23) at 10AM at the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. Burial will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Cranston. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday (1/22) from 5-8pm.
